Lauren Armishaw 
 Sopraan Lauren Armishaw (1978) is geboren in Nieuw Zeeland. Daar is zij afgestudeerd in zowel zang als wiskunde aan de Victoria Universiteit in Wellington.In 2002 verhuisde ze naar Nederland en studeerde ze aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag waar ze lessen volgde bij Rita Dams, Jill Feldman, Michael Chance en Diane Forlano.
In 2007 behaalde zij cum laude haar Master’s diploma in oude muziek. Momenteel wordt ze gecoacht door Peter Harrison.
Als specialist in oude opera`s zijn haar recente rollen:
· Laodice in Händels Siroe: Ré di Persia
· Zerlina in Mozarts Don Giovanni
· Venere in Cavalli's Ercole Amante (dir. Gabriel Garrido met optredens op het Festival d'Ambronay, Salle Gaveau in Paris en de operagebouwen van Bourg en Bresse, Vichy, Toulon, Reims en Besançon)
· Clori in Händels Il Delirio Amoroso (Händel Festival 2008, Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe).
Laurens interesse in barokopera leidde tot haar ontdekking van Lanciani's Il Martirio di S. Eustachio die ze zelf herschreef en bewerkte en waarbij ze de rollen vertolkte van Teopiste en Amor pudico op het festival Musica Sacra in Maastricht 2008 (dir. Peter van Heyghen, staging Sigrid t`Hooft). Dit werd uitgezonden door Radio 4.
Recente optredens bevatten 11 concerten in België, waar Lauren Händel Solo Cantates zong met het orkest Les Muffatti. Twee van deze concerten werden uitgezonden door Klara en Musiq3 in België.
Samen met mezzo sopraan Nicola Weymss en Les Inventions (dir. Patrick Ayrton) voerde zij Bach’s versie van Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater uit op het Drôme des Collines festival in Frankrijk.
Lauren heeft op Oude Muziek Festivals gezongen in Utrecht, Brugge, Antwerpen, Sablé en Cuenca, samen met L’Arpeggiata, dir. Christina Pluhar.
Als oratoriumsoliste heeft Lauren werken gezongen van onder andere: Monteverdi, Bach, Mozart en Haydn, onder leiding van dirigenten als Rinaldo Alessandrini, Jos van Veldhoven, Jos Vermunt, Giuseppe Cristaudo (Sicilië) en Toralf Hildebrandt (Duitsland).
In november 2008 was ze finaliste in zowel de Internationale “Musica Sacra” Concours in Rome als het Internationale “Canto Barocco” Concours in Napels.
Ook treedt ze regelmatig op met haar eigen trio Lacrime Amorose (sopraan/barokharp/theorbe).
CD-opnames bevatten Bach’s Mass in B Mineur met de Nederlandse Bachvereniging (Channel Classics),
Monteverdi Sacred Music met Roberto Gini (Dynamic), Cavalieri’s Rappressentatione di Anima e di Corpo (Alpha), Monteverdi’s Teatro d’Amore (Virgin Classics) met L’Arpeggiata en werken van Rosengart met het Orpheus Vokalensemble en Ars Antiqua Austria (Carus-Verlag).

| Elias Benito-Arranz 
 Spanish baritone Elias Benito-Arranz started singing at the age of 9 in Barcelona’s Cathedral Choir. He studied piano at the Barcelona Conservatoire and holds a degree in Humanities from the Pompeu Fabra University.In 2002, Elias joined the Vocal Faculty of the Royal Academy of Music, where he studied with Diane Forlano and Audrey Hyland.
During his undergraduate studies, he was awarded the Arthur Burcher Prize for best end-of-year recital, and was selected to represent RAM at the Europäishen Liedforum in Berlin.
In Masterclasses, he has worked with Nancy Argenta, Robert Tear, Malcolm Martineau and Kurt Widmer (Sommerakademie Mozarteum), and Sergei Leiferkus amongst others.
Elias has worked with the Orchestra of the Age of Entlightment (Bach workshop, Purcell Room) and the Sixteen (Bach cantatas) and has recently toured Germany as a member of The English Concert. He has already performed in London’s major venues including Christchurch Spitalfields (under the direction of Laurence Cummings, William Christie and Trevor Pinnock), St. Martin in the Fields (with the Brandenburg Sinfonia), Royal Festival Hall and Wigmore Hall (educational projects).
Recent oratorio engagements in the UK have included the B Minor Mass under Trevor Pinnock for the Spitalfields Festival, Beethoven’s 9th Symphony in St John Smith Square with the London Chamber Orchestra Season, Haydn´s Harmony Mass, Nelson Mass and Maria Theresa Mass for the Amersham Festival. Elias has also sung in Bilbao (Bilbao Symphony Orchestra), Menorca, Barcelona and toured Castilla la Mancha, Spain, and Liguria, Italy (Festivale Internazionale delle Cinque Terre). Further oratorio repertoire includes Bach’s Magnificat and Christmas Oratorio, Mozart’s Requiem and Solemn Vespers, Beethoven’s Mass in C, Fauré’s Requiem and Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb. Operatic experience includes Benoit ( La Boheme) in Italy, Guccio (Gianni Schicchi) for RAO and Leporello (understudy) for Amersham Festival of Music 2007, and more recently, Count Almaviva in a production of Le Nozze di Figaro in Sabadell, Spain.
Elias is currently a member of the Opera Studio La Monnaie-Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth, in Belgium, where he has performed in the Royal Theatre of La Monnaie, Palais des Beaux Arts with Jose Van Dam and the Christmas Concert in the Royal Palace.

| Selma Harkink 
 De Nederlandse sopraan Selma Harkink voltooide haar studie aan het Utrechtse conservatorium met onderscheiding bij Henny Diemer.
Naast haar studie in Utrecht studeerde zij gelijktijdig aan het conservatorium van Amsterdam aan De Nieuwe Opera Academie onder leiding van Alexander Oliver en aan de liedklas onder leiding van Udo Reinemann.
Gedurende haar studie won Selma verschillende prijzen. Twee maal was zij prijswinnaar in het concours van “Stichting Jong muziektalent Nederland”. Daarnaast ontving zij een beurs van de “Voorziening voor excellerende jonge musici”. Om haar studie compleet te maken volgde Selma verschillende master classes bij o.a: Sarah Walker, Henk Smit, Jard van Nes, Elly Ameling, Udo Reinemann, Rudolf Jansen, Helmut Deutsch en Roger Vignoles.
Selma Harkink werkte aan een groot aantal operaproducties mee. Zij speelde onder meer Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, Despina in Così fan tutte, Nannetta in Falstaff, Nella in Gianni Schicchi, Frasquita in Carmen en Le Feu en Le Rossignol in L’enfant et les sortilèges.
Harkink maakte meerdere jaren deel uit van het ensemble van de opera van Dortmund. Hier zong zij de rol van Der Küchenjunge in de wereldpremière van Das Treffen in Telgte van Eckehard Mayer gebaseerd op een roman van Günter Grass op een regie van Christine Mielitz. Verder was zij in Dortmund te horen als Marzelline in Fidelio, Gretchen in der Wildschütz, Mi in Das Land des Lächelns, Despina in Così fan Tutte, Woglinde in Das Rheingold, Olympia in Les contes d’Hoffmann en Blondchen in Die Entführung aus dem Serail.
Als gastsolist trad zij op in Oper Bonn als Miss. Schlesen in Satyagraha van Philip Glass, als Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro in Musiktheater Gelsenkirchen, als Ciboletta en Annina in Eine Nacht in Venedig bij Teatro Verde in Venetië en bij Muziektheater Transparant (België) als Blondchen in de productie “Een Totale Entführung” in een regie van Ramsey Nasr.
Bij de Nationale Reisopera was Selma te horen als o.a. Ancilla in Cherubini’s Medea en Annina in Verdi’s La Traviata. In januari 2008 verzorgde Selma de nieuwjaarsconcerten met Holland Symfonia o.l.v. Henrik Schaefer.
Recent was Selma te horen als o.a. Le Feu in Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortilèges met het Limburgs Symfonie o.l.v. Ed Spanjaard.
Op 14 maart won Selma de tweede prijs bij het 10de Deutekom Operaconcours.

Wendy Roobol 
 De sopraan Wendy Roobol werd geboren in 1981. Ze behaalde haar Bachelordiploma zang aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium en haar Master’s aan De Nieuwe Opera Academie, een samenwerking tussen de conservatoria van den Haag en Amsterdam. Ze studeerde bij Sasja Hunnego, Rita Dams en Maria Acda. Tevens werd ze gecoacht door Alexander Oliver, Han Louis Meijer en Diane Forlano. Momenteel wordt Wendy gecoacht door Jard van Nes.
Wendy is regelmatig op het concertpodium te zien. Ze zong de sopraansolo’s in werken van o.a. Bach, Mozart, Rossini, Händel, Haydn, Mendelssohn, Britten, Orff, Lotti en Rutter, maar ook werken van Franse barokcomponisten als Charpentier, Delalande, Gilles en Durante.
Ze heeft een voorliefde voor de combinatie zingen en acteren, dus heeft zij zich ook toegelegd op opera. Ze zong rollen als Oberto (Alcina, Händel), Susanna (Mozart, Le nozze di Figaro) Zerlina (Mozart, Don Giovanni), Helena( Britten, A Midsummer Nights Dream), Belinda en First Witch (Purcell, Dido and Aeneas) en diverse hoofdrollen in Purcells King Arthur en A Tempest.
Concertant zong ze rollen als Pamina (Mozart, Zauberflöte), Euridice (Gluck, Orfeo ed Euridice) en werkte ze mee aan een Nederlandse opname van Mozarts Toverfluit als Papagena, tweede dame en tweede knaapje. Deze opname is verschenen bij Brilliant Classic, het label van het Kruidvat.
Onlangs maakte ze haar debuut in het Concergebouw tijdens het Zondagochtendconcert met semi- geënsceneerde uitvoeringen van Purcells King Arthur en het Purcell Gala.
Ze zong een van de solopartijen in het stuk Tehillim van Steve Reich o.l.v. Reinbert de Leeuw en later met het Residentie Orkest o.l.v. Jaap van Zweden.
O.l.v. Marien van Staalen zong ze de Bachanias Brasileiras no. 5 van Villa-Lobos met de cellogroep van het Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orkest.
Tijdens het Boostfestival soleerde Wendy recentelijk in de titelsong van de film Once upon a time in the west (muziek: E. Morricone) bij het Metropole orkest o.l.v. Vince Mendoza.
Verder is Wendy actief als lied en kamermuziekzangeres met diverse ensembles in binnen- en buitenland.
Haar repertoire strekt zich uit van barok tot hedendaagse muziek.
Ze vormt een duo met alt-mezzo Carina Vinke en zang/luit duo met luitiste Elly van Munster.

| Vincent Lesage 
 Vincent Lesage neemt zanglessen bij Lena Lootens aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Brussel. Hij sluit zijn meestergraad af met grote onderscheiding in 2008. Hij is eveneens in het bezit van diploma’s licentiaat musicologie (K.U. Leuven) en meester in de barokviool (aan de conservatoria van Brussel bij Sigiswald Kuijken en Mira Glodeanu).
De jonge tenor heeft een bijzondere passie voor het barokrepertoire en wijdt zich aan een historisch geïnformeerde uitvoeringspraktijk.
Hij neemt masterclasses en privélessen bij o.m. Greta De Reyghere, Howard Crook, Axel Everaert, Edith Wiens en Udo Reinemann.
Vincent Lesage werkte eerder als gids en wetenschappelijk attaché aan het Muziekinstrumentenmuseum van Brussel en als zangdocent aan de Kunstacademie van Knokke. Hij geeft thans privéles en dirigeert de gemengde koren Amici te Wilrijk, en Vocame en het Brussels Bachkoor te Brussel.
Hij verleent zijn medewerking als koorzanger bij het Collegium Vocale Gent, Les Eléments, Anima Eterna.
Als ensemblezanger en solist werkt hij bij Akadêmia, Ausonia, L’Arpeggiata en het Choeur de Chambre de Namur.
Hij wordt gevraagd voor de partij van evangelist of voor de aria’s in oratoria zoals de passies en cantates van Bach.
Deze zomer (2009) was hij te horen als Nemorino in een “highlights”-versie van L’ Elisir d’amore van Donizetti op Les Nuits musicales de Beloeil en later op het jaar verleent hij zijn medewerking aan adaptaties voor kinderen van Het sluwe vosje van Janacek (als de schoolmeester) en van Die Zauberflöte (als Tamino) aan de Opéra Royal de Wallonie (Luik).

| Laila Sbaiti 
 De Sopraan Laila Sbaiti (1981) studeerde aan het Conservatorium van Amsterdam bij Margreet Honig. Ze behaalde daar in 2006 haar Bachelor diploma en studeerde vervolgens verder aan de Dutch National Opera Academy, waar ze in Juni 2008 haar Master diploma behaalde.
Bij de Opera Academy vertolkte ze “Zerlina” in Don Giovanni van Mozart, “Constance“ in Les dialogues des Carmélites van Poulenc, “Laurette” in Le docteur Miracle van Bizet en “Susanna” en “Barbarina” in Le Nozze di Figaro.
In najaar 2008 was zij te horen in o.a. concerten met Opera Studio Nederland tijdens het Grachtenfestival, de muziektheater productie “Ifigeneia in Aulis” met Toneelgroep Amsterdam en scenische concerten met Combattimento Consort o.l.v. Jan Willem de Vriend. Ook maakte ze haar debuut in Carnegie Hall.
Laila won in maart 2009 de 1e prijs en publieksprijs tijdens het Deutekom Concours in Enschede.
Verder staan in 2009 op het programma La Princesse en Le Rossignol in L’enfant et les sortileges van Ravel door het Limburgs Symfonie Orkest onder leiding van Ed Spanjaard; de sopraanpartijen in Deutsches Requiem van Brahms tijdens Koorbiënnale in Haarlem en in Le Roi David van Honegger tijdens Europacantat.
Ook zal Laila in april wederom in Carnegie Hall optreden. Verder is ze in het najaar te horen in El Gato con Botas met Opera Trionfo.
Tijdens de Summer Academy van het Aix-en-Provence Festival werkte Laila met o.a. Barbara Bonney en Graham Clark en verder volgde ze masterclasses en privé-lessen bij Lotfi Mansouri, Chris Nietveld, Ed Spanjaard, Ryland Davies, Graciela Araya, Marco Canepa, Rudolf Jansen, Valerie Guillorit, Udo Reinemann en Noëlle Barker.
Momenteel werkt ze met Margreet Honig en Nelly Miricioiu.

Kai Yi Min 
 Kai Yi, Min. Taiwanese Soprano (Lyric Soprano).She has completed her first Bachelor of Arts in Church Music, major in singing, minor in choir conducting.
During the time she studies at Tainen Theological College and Seminary (Taiwan), she was featured soprano soloist in several recital and concerts.
She has got prize in several singing competitions in Taiwan.
Since Sep. 2005, she studies Solo singing with Yvonne Schiffelers and choir conducting with Ludo Claessen at Conservatorium Maastricht.

| Hugo Oliveira 
 A native of Lisbon, Hugo Oliveira studied at Lisbon's Escola Superior de Música with Helena Pina Manique and Luís Madureira, and later on at The Hague Royal Conservatory with Jill Feldman and Barbara Pearson, supported by a scholarship of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
In 2009, Hugo Oliveira won the first prize in the III Competition of the Portuguese Rotary Foundation. He was also finalist of the London Bach Society Competition.
Integrated in the Opera departments of both conservatories, Hugo Oliveira took part in several operatic performances: in Lisbon, he appeared in W.A. Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro (as Figaro) and Don Giovanni(as Leporello) conducted by Nicholas McNair. In 2004, he performed John Blow’s Venus and Adonis (as Adonis), in The Hague, under the direction of Nigel North.
As part of the Ambronay European Baroque Academy (2004), he toured several venues in Spain and France (including Versailles, Rouen, Metz and Vichy, among others) playing La Discorde in Marc-Antoine Charpentier’s opera Les Arts Florissants, conducted by Christophe Rousset,.
Further operatic performances include D. Milhaud’s Les malheurs d’Orphée (as Orphée) with the Ebony Band at Paris’ Cité de la Musique, and Samuel Barber’s A Hand of Bridge (as David) - a production of Opera Minora (The Netherlands); he toured the most prestigious concert halls in The Netherlands and Belgium with A. Banchieri’s madrigalesque comedy La barca di VenetiaperPadova, conducted byGabriel Garrido and co-produced by Reisopera.
Hugo’s collaboration with the Estúdio de Ópera do Porto - Casa da Música had him appear in such productions as Benedetto Marcello’s Joaz (as Azaria in 2002 and Jojada in 20003) directed Richard Gwilt, Gluck’s L’Ivrogne Corrig(as Lucas) conducted by Jeff Cohen, and Heinz-Karl Gruber’s Frankenstein! (choreographed by Paulo Ribeiro), with the Remix Ensemble under the guidance of Pierre-André Valade.
Later on, in 2006, Hugo performed Gruber’s opera once again at the Barbican Centre in London, with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by François-Xavier Roth.
Within the context of Rotterdam 2001 and Porto 2001 - European Cities of Culture, he performed António Chagas Rosa’s Melodias Estranhas in both cities, with the Remix Ensemble conducted by Stefan Asbury.
His flexible skills as a singer extend into the Classical/Romantic and Contemporary repertoire as well.
Hugo has collaborated with orchestras such as Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra, Radio Philharmonic Orchestra (The Netherlands), Il Fondamento, Ricercar Consort, Divino Sospiro Baroque Orchestra, L’Arpeggiata, Les Inventions and with conductors such as Laurence Cummings, Jaap van Zweden, Paul Dombrecht, Werner Herbers, Peter van Heyghen, Christina Pluhar, Patrick Ayrton and Enrico Onofri.
Within the realm of oratorio, his repertoire includes works such as J. S. Bach’s Matthäuspassion,Johannes Passion, MarkuspassionandWeihnachtsoratorium, Arvo Pärt’s Passio (as Jesus) with England’s Hilliard Ensemble, C. Monteverdi’s Vespro della beata vergine, Casanove’s Invitatórios e Responsórioswith Les Concerts des Nations conducted by Jordi Saval, Händel’s Messiah and NisiDominus, Mendelssohn-Bartholdy’s Christus and Lauda Sion with the Gulbenkian Orchestra under the direction of Michel Corboz; he later collaborated once more with the Swiss conductor in Mozart’s Requiem. In 2007, again with the Gulbenkian Orchestra conducted by Gennadi Rozhdestvensky, he appeared in Liszt’s Die Legende von der Heiligen Elisabeth.
Hugo has also performed Duruflé’s and Fauré’s Requiem, J. Rutter’s Mass of the Children, Brahms’ Requiem(four-hand piano version) with Marcus Creed, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle, Igor Stravinsky’s Pulcinella with the Remix Ensemble directed by Martin André, Gubaidulina’s Jetzt immer Schnee with the Schönberg Ensemble conducted by Reinbert de Leeuw, as well W. A. Mozart’s Mass in C major and Haydn’s Missa Nelson, under the guidance of Christopher Bochmann.
He also performed the world première of Nuno Corte-Real’s Cantata Verbum Caro conducted by Paulo Lourenço.
Further performances worthy of mention include that of Händel’s Dixit Dominus with the Holland Baroque Society under the direction of Peter Dijkstra in Amstedam’s Concertgebouw and, in the same prestigious venue, Haydn’s Stabat Mater with the Amsterdam Sinfonietta conducted by Klaas Stok.

| Joke Cromheecke 
 Joke Cromheecke begon haar zangstudies aan het Stedelijk Conservatorium van Brugge. In 2001 startte ze haar professionele zangstudie aan het Koninklijk Muziekconservatorium van Gent bij de heer Zeger Vandersteene en behaalde in 2006 haar Master in Solozang met grote onderscheiding onder begeleiding van mevrouw Erika Pauwels. Van Ronny Lauwers kreeg ze er lyrische kunst. Vervolgens ging Joke zich specialiseren aan het Conservatorium van Maastricht (Nederland) bij mevrouw Yvonne Schiffelers. Momenteel volgt ze er nog altijd les, nu bij mevrouw Mya Besselink.
Joke volgde masterclasses bij o.a. Guidon Saks, Loh Siew-Tuan, Roberta Alexander, Mya Besselink en Renate Ackermann.
In 2008 behaalde Joke ook haar Master Viool aan het Koninklijk Muziekconservatorium, dit onder begeleiding van Lilia Umnova.
De internationaal vermaarde dirigent en componist Dirk Brossé doet meermaals beroep op Joke Cromheecke als soliste voor concerten en CD opnames. Zo werd Joke zonder enige twijfel één van de jongste vocale solisten die de “Beethoven Academie” ooit begeleidde. In januari 2006 verzorgde zij samen met hen de Nieuwjaarsconcerten, die tevens de laatste zouden zijn van het betreurde orkest.
Verder werkt Joke op regelmatige basis met Het Belgisch Promenade Orkest, “La Sarabande” en Marcel Ketels (oude muziek).
Joke is verbonden aan de Academie voor Muziek, woord en Dans van Heist-op-den-Berg en verleent regelmatig haar medewerking aan het Vlaams Radio Koor.
Bij het Tielts Operette Podium vertolkte Joke in oktober 2006 Christel van de post in “De Vögelhändler” (C. Zeller). In maart 2007 nam ze bij het Kortrijks Lyrisch Toneel de rol van Gabriëlle in “La Vie Parisienne” (J. Offenbach) voor haar rekening. Het seizoen erop, in maart 2008, was ze er actief in de rol van Adèle in “Die Fledermaus” (J. Strauss).
In januari 2009 verleende Joke haar medewerking als soliste tijdens de Nieuwjaarsproms in het Capitole te Gent, een productie van Music Hall.
